Everwood: Penetrating Wood Sealer and Preservative

Most wood treatments sit on the surface and fail from the day they dry. Everwood works differently: it penetrates deep into the timber and encapsulates the wood fibres themselves - protection that lives inside the wood, not on it.

Protection from within - permanently

Everwood Eco Sealer is a water-based, non-toxic treatment that soaks deep into the timber, binding to and encapsulating the fibres. Once cured, the protection does not wash out, wear off or peel - because there is no film to fail.

Here is a detail joiners notice: saw a board treated with Everwood and there is no resin smell. The treatment leaves nothing sitting on the surface - the wood stays natural to work, sand, glue and finish, all the way through.

What it protects against

  • Woodworm and wood-boring insects - encapsulated fibres are no longer a food source, protecting beams, floors and furniture.
  • Water deterioration - stops water soaking into the timber, preventing rot, swelling and decay in exterior and damp environments.
  • Weathering - keeps decking, fencing and cladding sound through wet UK winters.

Compatible with every finish

Because Everwood leaves no film, it is compatible with all coatings and varnishes. Seal the timber first, then paint, oil, stain or varnish exactly as you normally would - including our own Everwood Bio Varnish for a complete eco-friendly system.

Where to use it

  • Roof timbers, joists and structural beams (woodworm prevention)
  • Decking, fencing, cladding and pergolas
  • Garden furniture, sheds and log cabins
  • Interior floors, doors and joinery - low-odour and non-toxic, safe for indoor use
  • Raised beds and planters - a favourite for gardeners who want a non-toxic treatment near soil
